One Moisturiser To Rule Them All

Do you ever read a post raving about some skincare product that is supposed to be suitable for all skin types and doubt the authors words? I did for the Nourish Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser. I just didn't believe my oily blemish prone skin would get on with it. Nevertheless I found Feel Unique having a sale and this discounted moisturiser being added to my basket. I know, what the hell was I thinking? Why would I spend £22 on a moisturiser I wasn't even sure my skin would get on with. I'm happy to report though that this risk paid off.

Now this moisturiser contains Frankincense and rose of Jericho, and it claims to boost the levels of hydration in the skin, and boost cellular density for naturally firmer skin. It also claims to be 85% organic, so that's always a nice touch. You only need to apply a small amount, as a little really does go a long way. I've had it for about 3 months and I've not even made a dent in it.

Now to begin with I thought this moisturiser wasn't working for me, my skin was probably the worst it's ever been. I practically had a new face growing on me daily. I honestly thought "it must be the Nourish Moisturiser" but after about 3 weeks it all changed. My skin cleared up, dry patches became non existent, and my skin just feels well nourished. I'm not sure what changed to cause my skin to just decide it'd allow me to wake up every day for over a week without a new blemish, but I'm going to take it. I use this moisturiser every night unless I'm using an oil. I'm a convert to the heavy moisturiser at night, who'd believe it?!

What do you think of this moisturiser?

  1. I'm like you, I'm very skeptical when I see a moisturiser that is suitable for all skin types, but this actually sounds really good. It's good that it's lasted you for so long as well!

Thank you so much for commenting on this little blog of mine. I read every single one and I appreciate your kind words more than I can say. I do try to reply but it's something I'm terrible at (I'm bad at texting in particular), so if you're after a swifter reply then try me over at my Twitter @jodieloue_ where I'm actually pretty good at replying.
