Denman | The Ultimate Styling Kit

Christmas is right around the corner, and you know what that means don't you? Christmas sets! Possibly my favourite thing about Christmas (besides the buildup). Now I know it's a bit early but if you're anything like me you'll have already bought half the Christmas presents you need. I'm an organised person like that. Now if you're stuck for what gifts to get for those difficult people in your life I think I might have solved your problems, the only requirement is hair longer than a buzz cut!

The Denman Ultimate Styling Kit* has it all. A medium hair brush, bobby grips, hair elastics, a mini hair brush perfect for your car keys, and a dressing out brush. For a rookie like me, when it comes to hair I need all the help I can get. That's where the little booklet comes into play. It contains 5 unique looks and gives you step by step help to achieve them, in layman's terms too. I've given the sleek Ponytail a go (which is easy peasy), the elegant Side Bun (which looks way harder than it actually is) and the fishtail Braid (again, a breeze to create). The Rock Chic look is one I could only dream of pulling off, (I'm just not cool enough guys) and the Beehive is something I'm saving for a special occasion.

Maybe you need hair longer than a buzz cut to create the looks, but the tools are perfect for everyday use. The Medium Styling Brush has fast become my favourite brush to use, what can I say? I love the feeling of super sleek, soft hair and this delivers. The Dressing Out brush is perfect for sectioning my hair thanks to the slender handle, alongside teasing my hair and then smoothing it out again. Having never owned one of these before I can safely see why so many call it an essential. If I had hair extensions or a wig wardrobe like Kylie Jenner then this brush would be the only one I used. Tell me I'm not the only one who believes my bobbles and bobby pins grow legs and just hide from me? I'm in constant need of both. The Elastics have special technology so they don't cause any damage, and well the Bobby Pins stay put all day. I also didn't realise how much I needed a keyring hair brush. After work my hair gets tangled, to say the least. Now with this cute, dinky brush in my life, it's bye bye to that.

This would make the perfect gift, although I'm keeping this one for myself. Like I said, I need all the help I can get. What do you think of this fab little kit?

Thank you so much for commenting on this little blog of mine. I read every single one and I appreciate your kind words more than I can say. I do try to reply but it's something I'm terrible at (I'm bad at texting in particular), so if you're after a swifter reply then try me over at my Twitter @jodieloue_ where I'm actually pretty good at replying.
