Weird, Yet Charming Weather

I don't really know the aim of this post (and from the title you could presume I'm watching too much Once Upon a Time.. and you'd be right) and I feel like potentially it's how my posts have all be sounding as of late. I apologise if it annoys you as much as me! Photography is an area I really want to improve and I want any new readers or old readers to see that effort come across in all my photos. I'm trying to be more spontaneous with it too, and just take pictures as and when I feel like it, hence the one above.

After reading a post by Forever September I was more than inspired to get a little more friendly with my camera, and when I saw the pink sky (there's no editing in that photo either) I just knew I had to photograph it or regret it. I'm pleased as punch with it, but it definitely serves as a reminder that the weather is changing. In true English fashion it's being weird. One minute it's sunny, the next cloudy, or even pouring it down.

The pink sky I can deal with though, especially when it's as pretty as this. On a side note, have you ever heard the phrase 'Red sky at night, shepherd's delight. Red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning'?. It's one my dad used to say whenever something like the picture above occurred and it's just stuck with me ever since. I don't know the meaning, or the origin behind the phrase, but it's one that comforts me nonetheless.

What do you think about the weird weather we've been having lately?

Thank you so much for commenting on this little blog of mine. I read every single one and I appreciate your kind words more than I can say. I do try to reply but it's something I'm terrible at (I'm bad at texting in particular), so if you're after a swifter reply then try me over at my Twitter @jodieloue_ where I'm actually pretty good at replying.
