Concealers for Every Job

Concealers are a step I can't skip. If the bags under my eyes aren't making an appearance thanks to a good nights sleep, then I can certainly count on my skin to misbehave. I thought a roundup of my favourites in my collection was needed.

The Soap & Glory Kick Ass concealer has been featured on here at least three times this month on this blog. What can I say other than the fact I love it? The under eye concealer is the perfect peachy shade to counteract my sallowness, then we have the blemish concealer which I've actually hit pan on. It's gorgeously creamy and blends in like a dream. It's also the perfect shade for my pale face. Plus the Kick Ass powder that's also in this little kit (told you it has everything) isn't too shabby either. In fact I think it's my favourite powder right now.

Under eye concealing is no new revelation to anyone, except for me. I'm lazy 95% of the time when I apply my makeup so when I do take the time to conceal under my eyes, I notice all the difference. I even vow to myself to make sure I do it on the daily. The Seventeen Phwoarr Paint* is seriously heavy duty stuff. It can conceal even the darkest eye bag. It can crease due to it's heavier nature, but nothing works quite like this. The Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer is probably the best I've stumbled across to make me look like I've had an extra couple hours of sleep. It contains minute shimmer particles that only work to make you look wide awake. It's ultra creamy and I don't think I could be without this in my stash.

How many times have I sung the praises of the Seventeen Stay Time concealer? It's the better alternative to the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer and comes in far paler shades too. It covers blemishes perfectly and no matter what I always come crawling back to this one. It's ultra creamy, doesn't cling to dry patches and is high coverage stuff. The Cover FX* concealer is also high coverage stuff. Being housed in a tube is one reason I love this stuff. I can squeeze out how much I want, and I don't have to worry about bacteria spreading. It also comes in array of shades that you can't find on the highstreet.

What concealers do you love to use? Have you tried any I love?

Thank you so much for commenting on this little blog of mine. I read every single one and I appreciate your kind words more than I can say. I do try to reply but it's something I'm terrible at (I'm bad at texting in particular), so if you're after a swifter reply then try me over at my Twitter @jodieloue_ where I'm actually pretty good at replying.
