Pampering.

Sundays mean two things for me. 1) I've got 3 days off work and 2) I can happily pamper myself to my hearts content because I fully intend on being lazy. Now my small array of products are more aimed for my bath time pamper sesh but even so, they make me feel like I'm taking care of myself just a little bit better than I normally do.

The Mandara Spa Bali Bath Oil* is where it's at for me. The smell alone really helps to relax me and pouring some under running water fills my bathroom with a floral yet spicy scent. It foams up a little, but ultimately for me it makes my skin feel silky smooth. The only thing I wish I could change is the size of the bottles, they need to be bigger.

A mask I can always trust is Lush Mask of Magnaminty. This is my second tub and I just realised I don't think I can be without this in my life. Smelling minty and fresh really draws me in, but what makes me adore this little pot is the results. Instantly calm, exfoliated skin. When my skin is having a bit of a freakout, this is what I turn to. While my face mask gets to work, I like to have on hand a hair mask. The current fave is the My Little Beauty Repairing Hair Mask. It's a thick orange balm that smells delightful and leaves my ends feeling nourished, and more importantly detangled. I like to apply this for the same length of time as my face mask and just sit back and let both work their magic.

Being without some sort of body scrub really left me in the lurch so Soap & Glory naturally had to be my pick of the crop. Their Orangeasm scrub (I cringe a little at the name) not only smells citrus-y but does a lovely job of leaving my limbs feel soft but not scratched to death like some scrubs can do. It may be winter and it may be cold, but I can't skip on the body moisturising. Especially when it comes in the form of the Dove DermaSpa Silky Body Oil*. It smells divine (a theme in this post) and leaves me feeling like I have healthy, dewy skin. I can't get enough of this oil, it feels like such a luxe product yet is less than a tenner.

When's your next pamper day? What products do you use?

Thank you so much for commenting on this little blog of mine. I read every single one and I appreciate your kind words more than I can say. I do try to reply but it's something I'm terrible at (I'm bad at texting in particular), so if you're after a swifter reply then try me over at my Twitter @jodieloue_ where I'm actually pretty good at replying.
