A Selfridges Haul

You know I’ve never bought anything from Selfridges, and I don’t own really much high end makeup. The high end collection consisted of a Laura Mercier primer, and the Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 palette. So when pay day came round for me, I decided to finally cross off a few things from my Mac wishlist. My bank account might hate me for it, but I’m in love with each purchase.

From Mac, I decided to pick up 2 lipliners, Whirl and Soar, and then 2 lipsticks, Velvet Teddy and Brave. All give very nude vibes, which I’m all about. I haven’t tried the lipsticks yet cause I don’t want to ruin them, but they look like the perfect shades. Velvet Teddy is a matte finish, whereas Brave is a satin. I’m definitely going to be reviewing them when the time comes. Soar and Whirl are just the perfect Kylie Jenner lip. Soar is a pink toned nude, whereas Whirl is brown toned. They both have serious pigmentation and are easy to apply from first impressions. But I’m going to keep it short and sweet, a review is going to be coming.

The Urban Decay primer potion has been on my wishlist since forever. It’s constantly raved about as the eye primer to beat, so I had to see what the fuss is about. From one use of this I’m sold. Eyeshadow comes up far more pigmented, and it makes them last for ages! I wore an eyeshadow for 12 hours with no creasing! The hype is slightly real!

The Blame it on Nars palette was an impulse buy. I’d seen someone post about it on Instagram and fell in love. It’s the whole reason this haul happened. There’s a highlighter, a bronzer and two blushes, with Laguna, Orgasm or Deep Throat nowhere to be seen. Yep, you heard that right. Plus it comes with a mini brush, Ita I think. It’s too pretty to not have a post all on it’s own.

What are your favourite high end products that I need to try?
