I seem to be all about the palettes on jodie loue at the moment, but they’re all so pretty and I’m most certainly a magpie when it comes to pretty things.I’m fully blaming this purchase on Nars. I saw this floating around on Instagram and had to snap this palette up.
If you read my Selfridges haul then you’ll know this was a long time coming. Blame it on Nars doesn’t feature Laguna, Deep Throat or Orgasm and I’m so glad. I’m a little bit fed up of consistently seeing them in every palette Nars releases so it’s nice to see the underdogs getting their chance to shine. Satellite of Love is such a beautiful highlighter, I’m not quite sure why I haven’t seen it before. It’s a beautiful shimmery tone that almost runs on the side of champagne with pink undertones. I’d go as far to say as it would suit every skin tone, like all the other shades in this palette. It doesn’t make you look like a glitterball unless you want it to, and it sits perfectly on top of the skin without accentuating pores. Casino is a matte bronzer which can happily double up as a contour if you desire. It’s matte, pigmented and really chisels your cheekbones. It’s blend-ability is like nothing in my collection. Day Dream and New Attitude are blushes I’ve never heard of and if I had to choose a favourite then Day Dream would easily win. I’d describe it as being a dusty rose, as opposed to the bright almost candy floss pink that New Attitude is. The addition of a mini Ita brush is more than welcome, it’s perfect for contouring and I’ve never felt a brush as soft.
Can you tell I love this palette? Not only is it pretty, but every shade is pigmented, finely milled and just all around perfect. I know I could take this with me on holiday and be covered. Now I just need to expand my Nars collection.
Have you tried this palette? What did you think?
