You’ll rarely find a slick of nail polish on my nails but seeing as I have three days off over the festive period (weep) I have to take every opportunity I can get. I’m pretty appalling at applying the stuff, which is probably why I don’t wear it, but practice makes perfect right?
I’m stuck between two shades. Essie Toggle to the Top and No. 7 Moonlit Shadow. The Essie shade is a gorgeous reddy-pink with glitter dispersed throughout, whereas Moonlit Shadow is almost caught between a bronze and a rose gold shade and is beautifully iridescent.
Do I know how each apply? No. Nail polish isn’t a regular in my routine, a fact I do need to change and fully intend to when I get my mitts on the Essie set perfectly wrapped under the tree. Surprisingly I’ve used both a long time ago, once, and I cannot for the life of me, remember how they perform. Do I care if they chip? I’ll probably be gorging myself on food too much to actually care. If they do then I’ve found myself a challenge – how to extend their longevity. They’re both too pretty to pass up like I’ve been choosing to do.
Which shade do I choose? Or do I just find the best of both worlds and use Toggle to the Top as an accent shade or vice versa?
