Christmas is always a little overwhelming for me. I feel like there’s a lot of pressure on, essentially, one day of the year. Maybe it’s because everyone seems to be super organised and they know exactly what to get for the loved ones in their lives. Me? I have no clue. I wing it when it comes to present buying. I’m not one for gift guides usually but I decided to make an exception, so if you’re stuck, you’re welcome (they’re not too pricey either).
I don’t think you can go wrong with a good gift set. The Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Gift Set* is one that anyone would gladly welcome into their life. Containing their Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo, Conditioner and Nourishing Balm this is sure to be a hit for anyone with hair quite frankly. It’s infused with macadamia oil which leaves hair feeling silkier and full of shine. Who doesn’t want silky hair? Another one from Dove is their Real Women Set* featuring a hand cream, body wash and a cream pot all contained in the most gorgeous bag. They’re everyday essentials and smell too good to pass on.
The Denman Ultimate Styling Kit* is another one to add to your list. Who even thinks to buy themselves a hair brush? I know I rarely do. Bobby grips, hair elastics, a styling brush and a classic brush, alongside the cutest little brush I’ve ever seen is the gift that’ll keep on giving for years to come. If you’re really stuck, why not try Lush? They do some beautiful gift sets that you can’t pass up all suitable for different price ranges. Golden Wonder is one I picked up for a loved one and I hope she loves the contents as much as I do. It also saves you a job, as they’re already perfectly wrapped!
Essie nail polishes are probably the most coveted for their extensive shade range. Their All I Want For Christmas Gift Set is one I know I’m getting under my tree this year. You get 5 gorgeous shades (Fiji, Cocktail Bling, Fishnet Stockings, Licorice, and Bahama Mama) and you also get their Winter Mini Kit.
If you’re after something more original then I always think makeup or makeup tools, are perfect. If you’re on a budget but still want that luxe feeling than the Real Techniques Bold Metals are the place to start. I do believe there is an amazing gift set on offer for them where you get three brushes for the price of one. If you want more for you money then Zoeva is the place to go. Their Rose Gold Collection is on my wishlist. Benefit or Nars would be my picks as their packaging is beautiful. The Steven Klein range would be a beauty lover’s dream, and I’m sure any teenager would adore the Benefit packaging. Their Christmas gifts or ‘How To’ kits are a lovely way to dabble in the range.
I hope I’ve maybe helped one of you with a Christmas present for someone you’re stuck with? What do you think of these gifts?
