Hair care is something I’m forcing myself to be proactive with. It’s an area I’ve always neglected until recently and since I’ve just chopped my hair off (details coming your way soon), I feel like there’s no better time to start. I’ve been relying more and more on two products that seem to do all the work for me.
Kerastase’s Elixir Ultime is my Sunday choice for cleansing my hair. It’s enriched with four oils – Pracaxi, Argan, Camellia, Maize, with each one leaving my hair feeling nourished yet utterly cleansed. It’s almost like magic in a bottle. I put my whole trust in this bottle of shampoo to do it’s job, and I don’t think I’ve come across a shampoo that makes my hair softer than a feather.
Probably the most multi-tasking hair care product I’ve come across is the Garnier Ultimate Blends The Marvellous Glow Oil. Just like it’s name, it’s list of claims is long. It can be used before styling, after styling, inbetween washes and apparently anytime. Like the Kerastase shampoo it contains Argan and Camellia Oils to help nourish and protect the hair. It also claims to have a UV filter, which is a nice touch in my opinion. It also smells gorgeous, and when it’s a windy day the only plus side I see is that when my hair is blowing in my face, it smells almost good enough to eat!
Both seem to be making my hair ridiculously soft, and I don’t think it’s looked this healthy a long time. Have you tried either of these?
